One man's struggle to come to terms with leaving Wigan.

Again, a long gap between posts, but there's been a lot happening, and not much time to sit down and write.

Still looking for a job, but definitely feel like something's getting closer. I have a few very warm leads, at least two of which are going very well indeed. One I like the look of a lot more than the others, but to be honest they're all OK.

I've even been getting a bit of freelance lately for L'Oreal, which is nice. Certainly keeps the wolf from the door.

Isobel is a delight in all ways except one. Her sleeping at the moment is absolutely terrible. Once we've put her down at bedtime she's been waking up every 30-45 minutes, and we've been having to put her in our bed, which is less than ideal. It could be a number of things: a bit of exzema she's developed since we've been back and out of the humidity of Singapore, the fact she's been in her travel cot, which only has a very thin mattress and is therefore probably not all that comfortable, or the fact she's getting a bit big for her sleeping bag. Well, I rescued her cot from the storage as soon as it arrived, a new sleeping bag is on its way, and she's off to the doctors on Tuesday. So fingers crossed things should look up soon.
